イルカの追い込み漁とは
和歌山県太地町では、毎年9月1日から翌年2月末日までイルカの追い込み漁が行われます。
- 遺体販売（食用）
- 生体販売（水族館等に販売）収入が多いのは生体販売
生体販売は、水族館、リゾートホテル、ドルフィンセラピー、ふれあい体験、ドルフィンスイムといった娯楽商材利用、教育研究利用、軍事利用等を目的として行われるそうです。
捕獲されたイルカたちは海外に販売される。主要販売先は中国で、2009-2014年の販売先は、中国216頭、ウクライナ36頭、韓国35頭、ロシア15頭など12カ国。
